PROGRAM MISSION

The Higher Education Program at the University of Toledo is an engaged graduate program preparing masters and doctoral students to become leaders who will shape the future of American public and private higher education. The master's degree program focuses on student affairs administration while combining academic coursework with required practicum experiences for all students. The doctoral of philosophy degree program focuses on administration and policy analysis. Cornerstones of the higher education program involve students in a culture of scholarship and accessibility to the degree and courses. Faculty actively engage postsecondary educational organizations, students, and agencies to create programs, courses, and services to meet their needs.
