PROGRAM STATEMENT
The Student Affairs Practice program is designed to prepare individuals for a career in higher education. As such, it provides instruction in the following areas: Foundations of Student Affairs, Contextual Dimensions of Student Affairs and Knowledge and Skill Requirements for Student Affairs Professionals.
PROGRAM MISSION
The students and faculty of the Student Affairs Practice Program at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania are a diverse community of learners collaboratively engaged in research, scholarship, leadership, and service. Faculty are committed to providing developmentally sound academic and field experiences to educate student affairs professionals to be effective leader-practitioners in a pluralistic society. Our mission is to prepare professionals who embody ethical behavior, provide services to enhance the development and well being of college students, and actively contribute to the wider community.
