GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
Program name: Master of Science in Education in Student Services Administration College: School of Education Department: Department of Educational Administration Degrees and Emphases: M.S.Ed. – Student Services Administration Tuition and Fees: In order to gain admission to the program students must obtain a graduate assistantship at Baylor or currently hold a full time position in Student Life. Students accepted to the program with a graduate assistantship will receive full tuition remission and be paid a stipend for twenty hours of work per week. Students in the program are required to pay the general student fee required of all students. This fee is approximately $650/semester. Students must also purchase required textbooks. Additional financial aid may be available for qualified students. |

PROGRAM STATEMENT

The M.S.Ed. in Student Services Administration program will take you from being an individual interested in student services to a highly sought after professional with the skills and knowledge to be among the very best in the field. Drawing from a theoretical foundation built in the classroom, the hands-on experience of your graduate assistantship, and the practical knowledge of current professionals, you will become a competent and capable member of an ever-growing profession. At Baylor, you will learn to work with students as whole people; individuals with spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical needs.

PROGRAM UNIQUENESS
This program is designed for men and women with demonstrated leadership potential, a strong commitment to students and the student services profession, and motivation to improve higher education. The Baylor program uses a Christian perspective to prepare students for entry and mid-level student services positions and also serves as a vehicle of advancement for student services administrators. The 42-hour progressive curriculum provides students with a rich background of practice and theory. Students must be working in student services administration or receive one of Baylor’s numerous graduate assistant positions to be admitted to the program.
